nice, these save you a lot of money if you have a dependable internet service

Agreed on both points. I've never had issues with my internet, but my parents had problems with their Ooma on DSL that went away after switching to comcast .

No. It has only for US calls. Low-cost international calling. International calls has separate charges.

@gunjan; I'm not sure I understand you. @dvinegrace83; Yes, I consider it to be a comparable service to Vonage and MajicJack (I looked into both of those before buying my Ooma. It does work for international numbers, you just have to pay a small amount for the calls (I don't think this is any different than the other options). Overall, the cost of ownership/use is much less for Ooma, and you don't need a computer to be running all the time (like with MJ). I recommend it. Vonage may be a slightly better service in terms of quality, but they charge you a LOT more for it.

This is a great service and device if you already have a good high speed internet service. I've been using Ooma for several years, and it's been working well for me. I'm happy with them.
