Amazon.com Gift Card purchasers: Thank you for making yesterday's deal such a success. We're hard at work processing each purchase. Thanks for your patience and you'll hear from us soon!

Mine has worked as described, thanks to all for sharing this deal. Amazon gift cards never expire. Also, there is a disclaimer on the living social website stating that they are in the process of confirming orders. To get your code, click on "my deals" if it has been processed, a link will appear to apply the $20 to your Amazon account.

That's no reason for a thumbs down though. You know, it hurts your rep to thumbs down. I was simply giving information that I got confirmation of the deal. Why should my reputation be on the line for that information?

Hey guys, just a heads up. Those using referral links- that is not allowed on dealspl.us. That may be why you are getting all those thumbs down. My suggestion- delete them before you get anymore! Just letting you guys know!

Note: LivingSocial Customer Service said only 1 of these gift cards can be used per AMAZON account + credit card. - So you can use this card on your friend's prime account or such IF they don't have one used on there. - Once the card is used... a certain account, it stays there and can not be transferable or used in another account after.

Yeah but I am guessing that Amazon will know the block of codes assigned to be issued for purposes of this promotion and upon attempting to use a code from that setlist of numbers, it will know if you are using more than one. Or maybe I am giving Amazon too much credit.

I guess in case something like this comes up again, I'll need to setup some extra email accounts and credit cards to make multiple purchases. $50 turned into $100. SOunds great. Lucky.

any idea if these are stackable?
vote

I'm assuming they are, as Amazon allows you to stack gift cards. Most people bought more than one so I guess we'll see.

Should be an online code they'll send to you. I've used LivingSocial before, and had good results. If you check under "my deals" after purchasing, it should appear as "pending purchases", so it will probably go through in a day after your card is charged. Don't know why there are so many bad experiences online, but its a "local" sort of portal/site, and I know half the businesses in my area when they use LivingSocial (a lot are restaurants and spas)...never buy gift cards for a business you've never heard of!

when something is too good to be true it usually is , otherwise why have nobody got their codes yet . I'm pretty sure amazon don't make more than half their sales in profit then how the hell would they afford offering $20 for $10 and for what reason
1 like vote
dripdd Jan 19, 2011
Because, Amazon put $175 into LivingSocial last December. They are throwing away just few millions.

& how logically would you call this investing ?

Your card hasn't been charged either. This company is legit. Just wait for your card to be charged once the deal expires and you will get your code.
vote
Jtelford Jan 19, 2011
It doesn't matter. Do you think Amazon's profit margin is only based on 50%? Come on. This is huge for both companies. Especially for the company that they just invested $175 million into. Think about it.

It does say if you order any deal during the week, they send it to you the next day.
vote
albertoa76 Jan 19, 2011
I guess they have to give you a day to earn your free card so they dont charge you, email you your code, then have to issue a refund if you got the referral purchases. I guess once it ends, we will get the charge and the codes soon to follow.
