No, they have a reason to do so. You have to call them and speak to a person to redeem the gift card. And while that person is redeeming it, she pressures you to sign up for the Elite membership ($15/month). She pushes so hard that makes you feel like she WON'T redeem your gift card until you accept to sign up for Elite membership and she processes the membership payment right away! Only then, you can go! That's what happens to me last time. The worst thing is NOWHERE on their website allows you to cancel the membership yourself. FAQ answers about Elite membership cancellation as: look for the Elite Specialist number and call! But NOWHERE on the website provides a single number of the company! Finally I had to do the old fashion way: filled out the contact form, and I firmly told them DO NOT CALL ME BACK, just process the cancellation, please. See, even if you want to cancel, you have to talk to a person and have her approval! So, whoever thinks he can just sign up for 10 Saveology accounts in order to purchase 10 Macy's gift cards needs to beware. You have to call TEN times to redeem, and each time, it will be like my experience. Remember they push you so hard to the point you think they're NOT gonna redeem your gift card until you sign up and pay for Elite membership right then!

I hate how Saveology does this. All it involves is people creating tons of email accounts to sign up for each deal. Why cant they just make the deals open to everyone. Still a good deal though

50% off of any item on the store that values less than 15 dollars is good.
