The silver tickets can be used to purchase general admission for a movie that has been out for 10 days (I think - 2 weekends). Otherwise, there's an additional charge of $1.50 per ticket. (AMC Gold does not have this restriction)

Surcharge are applied on 3D and IMAX movies also. I used to pay $4

Oh yeah, I think it was $3 extra for IMAX for me but our movie theater's "IMAX" was just a bigger screen
