Q: Has anyone heard of Style.ly?

I don't remember how I came across Style.ly but it was fun to get points (that can be redeemed for $ for purchases) & occasionally get points from random users. It adds up and I figured I could eventually get something for...well, free! :D
Then I tried selling a dress of mine that was part of my entrepreneurship experiment on eBay this past fall. It sold! (and it sold for a lot more than I'd get on eBay percentage-wise) I haven't been paid yet (since I haven't shipped it out yet) but I've read it was easy and Paypal's an option which also means it's a lot faster.
So has anyone ever seen or tried it out? I'm not a huge fan of how the site is laid out but the idea of the site is eBay-esque, filled with both new and used clothing, shoes, and jewelry. It's mostly things for women. Sorry guys :(

Yeah! I'm still holding onto that $10, waiting to see something I really want. So far I've accumulated $14 and some change in points (:

Interesting. Arsiel, how long does it take to earn enough points to buy something decent?

@dealwagger, Well since it's like eBay in terms of people's pricing, you never really know. You have to hunt for stuff :P
I particularly like buying from people who use stock listings because that's usually when they buy in bulk and resell so the items are definitely new. I found a simple, summer dress for $16 shipped and with my accumulated $14 and some change in points, it'd probably only cost me $5 (with Style.ly's purchase fee too)
FYI: 1.474 mil points = $14.74
They give you 1 mil in points ($10) if you just link your facebook account.
I haven't completely learned the ropes of the site yet. Other users can send you points as well (which I get email notifications for). So far it's always been 100,000 points so I guess is $1? HOWEVER, the weird thing I noticed is that the longer you stay on the site, the lower your points go. You lose 1 pt for every second you stay on or something like that. No idea why but I guess if people send you 100,000 points daily, it's not a huge deal. It makes browsing a little more stressful though IMO.
