I have had this set of speakers for quite a while. They are very good speakers for $50 (and look nice :). My subwoofer gives me some problems every once in a while, but I got them for $50 around 2 years ago so I got my moneys worth.

The 2.1 version of these speakers are perform pretty well. The bass is nice and low, and the treble is not bad either; the highs are probably more well defined in 5.1. A great deal if you're an audiophile looking for something affordable, considering how much the 2.1 was for my friend.
