Red Cross isn't NEARLY as efficient with your donations. Furthermore, money sent to Red Cross can be used as they see fit.

YELE.ORG is a reputable organization. It was started by Wyclef Jean, a Haitian musician.

100% of your donation will be applied towards the Haitian Disaster relief.

You can make a $10 contribution by texting "HAITI" to 501501.

Don't take my word for it. Do your own homework, check out the Red Cross and check out YELE.org. Research "Donation Efficiency". Make an informed decision on what agency to trust with your well-intentioned dollars. Watch for scams, but don't blindly trust the Red Cross. Did you know they use YOUR donations to lobby DC politicians?

This was listed as one of the reputable sites collecting funds for Haiti. Red Cross is fine, but more of your donation goes to overhead costs and administration.

yele.org is Wyclef's organization. I read somewhere that 100% goes to the cause.

I agree, i heard that only 7 cents makes to the cause from each dollar you give....everything else goes to administration.
