20 DOLLAR REBATE THAT I FOUND ON NEWEGG INCLUDES DELL.COM http://images10.newegg.com/uploadfilesfornewegg/rebate/SH/SAMSUNG10MIRsJun1Jul3109cd12.pdf

Unfortunately, this is not true. I plussed this, but then I decided to actually read the rebate. The list that includes dell.com states: "Valid everywhere in the US EXCEPT ... dell.com."

Hey this might help out if you had to pay tax on this like I did; newegg.com has a $20.00 REBATE that includes dell.com! I found out about this when I was doing some price comparison.

As of 02-Jul-2009 this is entirely "out of stock". In the past, I have waited weeks for Dell to "stock" something. Not again.

the vertical viewing angle on these is really bad. You cant see the whole thing correctly at once.
vote
jacksalon Jul 02, 2009
Why, because it's so big? I would assume any monitor with a fixed height would potentially have vertical viewing angles. You just need to put it on a stand then to raise it, no?
vote
jacksalon Jul 02, 2009
That should have been "vertical viewing angle problems".

Quick review: This may sound cliche, but a great monitor for the price. I have a 245BW at work and I cannot say that I'm a fan of Samsung's Magic Color. I constantly have tired eyes from staring at the computer all day. But the 2333SW is a different story. The colors are vibrant. The contrast is deep and clear. Samsung has also updated the Magic Color system to offer fixed settings for Text, TV, Games, Sports, etc. One great feature about this monitor is the power consumption. But I can see it as an annoyance, say you're watching a movie and it goes the credits. The monitor will automatically dim itself thinking you're screen is idle. I was watching Lie to Me on Fox.com and a dark dramatic scene was happening and my screen looked like it was dimming down and brightening up. Instinctively I thought it was a defect (hence the great deal) but that wasn't the case since it only happened in dark scenes. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with my monitor that I waited a year or so to research and purchase. Thanks Deals+ and xichigox for the find.

yup, xichigox forwarded this to me and i bought it within minutes. i've been looking for a 20" for the past year for around the same price. and now a 23" samsung! WOW. it can't get better than that. after reading some reviews, looks like the overall concensus is that the colors are stunning. i can't wait til this ships out. thanks dealsplus.
