The 8gb version sells for $50 at Walmart. That's $50/8gb = $6.25/gb So this 1gb RECERTIFIED version costs more than twice the price per GB compared to Walmart's price on a BRAND NEW 8gb! Not such a great deal after all.

Very tiny, great battery, superb sound, clear OLED screen...I'm tempted to buy another one :/

does this take mini sd, micro sd or standard sd cards?

No, it does not. However, it has the top sound quality of any mp3 player I've used.

The Sansa Clip Plus will take microSD. Not this one though :(

I like Sansa players. Not the greatest players, but they're cheap and they do the job (play MP3s).

Not the greatest players? "Donald Bell Of Cnet.com gives up all the test results and analysis in his top picks for high-fidelity MP3 players. They have named the Sansa Clip 'the 5th best player for any audio snob'. And also points out this is the biggest BANG for your buck your getting. Check out what he had to say at News Source."

So if it's 5th place, then it's not the greatest player. And who the hell cares what Donald Bell thinks?
