I know someone who has these. Said they're the most comfortable shoes ever!

i agree these look odd but they have managed to stick around so maybe there's something to them. might be worth it to give them a try!

$45 for a FiveFingers Shoes seems like a pretty good price these things seem to be an the expensive side... I am not a big fan of these type of shoes though...

I recommend you try them on in a store before you order, the fit is very important (and you don't have much room for error).

The KSO's are great all around, the Treks have a lot more protection on the bottom, and the classics are good for around the house or for errands (not so much for running).

Pretty good shoes, I will wait unit price go down..
maven3 Jun 28, 2012
Unfortunately, I don't think the price will go down much more from this. Vibram kind of has a monopoly on this type of shoe.

good price, i still thin these shoes look really weird
maven3 Jun 27, 2012
My favorite shoes. I pretty much only wear these and flip flops now. Be careful if you haven't used them before though, you have to work up to wearing them all the time, you'll hurt your feet if you transition too quickly.

How so? You gotta blend in to it?
maven3 Jun 27, 2012
It has to do with foot / arch / leg strength. If you go barefoot all the time, then it won't be a hard transition. If you are used to using supportive and cushioned shoes, you will need to wear the five fingers for an hour a day for a week, two hours a day the next week, etc (or something similar).

You have to walk/run on the balls of your feet with these, you will seriously injure your foot if you try to run the same way as you do with padded/supportive shoes.
