I have a question about S&S Orders if anyone knows the answer.
Say I buy this item today and I do the subscribe & save and choose every month. Ok, today the price is $16.57 with the coupon & S&S. But in 1 month this price is not gonna be the same. Say on 1 month the price is now $25 for this item. Is amazon gonna charge me $25 for the shipment which would be the current price at the time my S&S monthly order would be?

In my experience (the few times I've ordered through S&S) the price you subscribe on will be the price you pay each time. So, for example, if the price is $16.57 today and you order through S&S today, then next month you'll get it for that same price. As long as you keep your monthly S&S order going, you'll continue to get that price. At least that's how it's been for me the few times I've ordered through S&S :)

Does that apply too if the item has a coupon on it today but in 1 month it doesn't?

It should, yes. You're essentially locking in the price when you opt in for S&S.

Great, Thanks Dealsornodeals. I've seen some really good S&S deals but since I didn't know how it worked I never ordered them. I might try it now. :)

You know what, after really looking back at my S&S orders, the prices do seem to fluctuate. I think I may be wrong about the locking in of the prices. Just to be on the safe side, if you order through S&S, I'd double check the price of your items before your next shipment goes out. The beauty of S&S is that you can cancel at anytime, so if the price goes up by a lot, you can just cancel it without any fees.

Ok, see that's what I was worried about. Also can you do multiple S&S orders at any given time and if you start cancelling subcriptions all the time will Amazon flag your acct., give you a warning or anything like that?

You can totally order multiple S&S orders at a time. In fact, if you subscribe to 5 or more products, you unlock 15% off savings instead of the regular 5%! So you'll get an even bigger discount. Which is pretty cool. I know that Amazon advertises S&S as giving you the ability to cancel S&S at any time, so I doubt they would flag your account if you cancel a ton of S&S orders. The ability to cancel at anytime is basically built into the S&S business model haha. I've personally ordered through S&S and then canceled a bunch of times, and I haven't receive any warnings or problems :)

Thanks for all your replies to my questions. It's made me want to give the S&S feature a try. If you don't mind I think I'm gonna take our lil' conversation here and put it in Ask & Share. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's avoided S&S for one reason or another.

No problem :) yeah good idea! S&S can be a little confusing, so I'm sure other people could benefit from this information.
