2013 Tax Free Back to School Shopping Holiday / Weekend

Each year, several states participate in offering sales tax holidays to families. The idea is to help save them money on some of the things they need for their kids like supplies, clothes and even electronics. By suspending the collection of state, county or local sales tax, it keeps more money in your pocket when you have to pick up the items your school needs for your child to bring with them on the first day of class.

You guys should also keep in mind that Pennsylvania is ALWAYS tax free when it comes to FOOD and CLOTHING. That's why it is NOT on the list here.

PA is tax free for more than just clothing and food. No tax on medicines, heating fuel, textbooks. But overall one of the highest taxes states in the country.
