i don't think so. I am guessing there is a parent company who owns dealsplus.com

There was once a news in this site, that MM gives away around $80000 for its users. This really is a great site.

Encorez: It looks like DP has right about 1.5 million unique visitors each month, and peaks at around 3 million in the November timeframe.

It's pretty easy to imagine how they make their money with that many views. Click-through ads on a website usually pay anywhere from several cents to dollars or more (for each click).

If you figure one in every hundred unique visitors click on an ad, and you get an average of 10 cents per click, DP would make $240,000 per year.

Not to mention affiliate relationships with retailers.

On a side note, it's interesting to note that both slickdeals and fatwallet are at only around 1 million unique views every month. DP beats the competition solidly ;)

If that's in one month by one person, then I think DP does well.

Also dealpulp.com, shoplately.com, Sazze and DP are all owned by the same people.

Heres a quote from his article: " We make money through affiliate relationships with retailers. A lot of merchants included on dealsplus.com were telling us, "We'd love to be featured more prominently." But dealsplus.com is a user-generated site, so it limited our ability to specifically promote certain merchants."

It's a private company, so it's not unusual that they wouldn't want to say how they make money, where their various revenue streams are coming from, etc. If they give away all their secrets, it is easy to replicate the website and revenue streams.

Though I do think it's odd that there isn't more information on the management of the company.

Not really when the mods select what will be featured to the front page.
