Thats pretty much a standard toll house recipe you can find on any bag of chocoloate chips.

I have made this recipe from here before, and it is one of our favorite chocolate chip cookies. @ Acidbaby, it is a little different (1/4 cup more of each sugar and the hot water) and in baking, a little makes a big difference.

Im well aware of that. My wife and MIL own a bakery. And just my personal preference, and choco chip cookie dough without sour cream in it is a waste of time.

If you add a small pack of Jello Instant Vanilla Pudding to the dry ingredients and put 1 1/4 cup brown sugar and 3/4 white they will be even more amazing and chewy ;) (although a bit sweet for some)
@Acidbaby: totally agree about the sour cream! And dollop of creme fraiche on top=heaven! Too bad it costs so much :(

By the way, you just inspired me to make some cookies and my 2&3 year olds are very grateful lol!

No I am talking about sour cream in the mix. I do semi sweet chocolate chips with a white sour cream cookie batter. Maybe its just me personal preferance but they are 100x better than a brown sugar cookie batter.
