Some that havent be spoken for. Comedy: If you like the hangover then check out "I love You Man". Some funny stuff right there. A good drama with a tad bit of violence and action check out Ryan Gosling in "Drive". Its a slow paced movie but me personally I loved it. One of my favorite movies in the last few years though is Christina Ricci in "After.Life". Lots of nudity if thats a problem. Just a wonderful suspenseful movie with no real certain ending. Also one of my favorite old school movies. Is Leon: The Professional one of my all time favs right there. Uhh foreign films "Let The Right One In" or the american version "Let me in".
If you are into truely sick and demented movies I can help you out there as well. Im a fan of the art so just truely disturbing movies dont bother me but if you have any qualms about violence, incest, cannibalism i wouldnt recommend you watch any of the following,
"Cannibal" is a fantastic true story about Armin Miewes who placed newspaper ads for a gay lover who would let him kill them and eat them. Its pretty well true to the actual story, very graphic.
"Oldboy", another great foreign film. Very graphic with torture, incest, lots of violent themes.
"Bad Boy Bubby", Amazing story of a abused and neglected young man. Incestual themes, animal abuse, not much violence except for the neglectfulness of Bubbys mother.
"Visito Q" Parental abuse, very graphic sexual themes, prostitution, drug addiction.
Looks em up on IMDB for plots. I just dont want to make this post too big.
