Can Your iPad do THIS!?

9 0
Alright, I admit it. I own a new iPad and its not as "productive" as I thought it would be. I spend hours and hours surfing the web, going on Facebook and playing video games. However, if you really want a REAL productive tablet then this might be your answer.

Big news coming from Samsung is that the company have created a new product line, the Samsung Galaxy Note Tablet (10.1-inch). This tablet is quite different than the new iPad. Samsung clearly design this tablet to increase productivity with the S Pen stylus and multi-screen function. The company is hoping to attract BOTH businessman and students to buy this tablet to increase productivity (and not gaming).

So how fast is this Samsung Galaxy Tablet 10.1?
  • Quad-Core Exynos Processor (1.4ghz)
  • 2GB Ram
  • 1200 x 800 resolution
  • Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)
  • 5mp camera (Rear) 1.9mp (Front)
  • Available in both Black and White
  • Available in 3G or Wifi
  • No pricing yet but we're assuming its around $399-$499

This Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 should be available world-wide at the end of this month (August).

Thanks! And yeah, I've had a similar experience with my Android tablet (which is still more productive for me than an iPad).

What really excites me is a Windows 8 tablet with a quality pen input system (like the spen or better yet, Wacom). This combo would let me use MS Onenote, mark up PDF's, etc. Right now I use my Thinkpad laptop/tablet PC for this, but it would be great to have a tablet sized device instead.

I love my iPad and my iPod touch, I don't know what I would do without them!!

But, can't you do these things on the iPad?? I do Interior Design and find many of the apps to be quite helpful. There are apps like MagicPlan where I can go into a space and take the measurements by way of pictures. They have been quite accurate. Isn't getting a stylus for the iPad easier??

Just asking

@Zayida; I think the biggest difference here is that the sPen technology is much better for taking notes/drawing. Capacitive touch styli are terrible. You might as well just use your finger.
