hmmm...you should call them and tell them your problem. I have called in the past and complained to them about some billing/service problems and they lowered my bill by $10 a month for the same service. I guess its YMMV. It really depends on the representative you get from comcast.

I also have Comcast but haven't experienced the problem you described. It does get slow occasionally but i think it's because of the amount of traffic. I would call Comcast and have them check and test your line and also exchange all your modem, cable boxes and router. They always exchanged my equipment with newer ones with no problem. You may have to bring it to a local Comcast office to avoid a service charge for the visit.
