Simply prove you're an active member of the community. You can do this by maintaining around 30-50 points a week. You can get points from submitting deals, commenting on deals and the forum, and by voting. Hope that helps!

Most deals are totally fine (be sure to list a deal though, not just something for regular price or the same price as everywhere else).

The main types of deals that are not approved are from 3rd party sellers on Amazon etc. In order to ensure the quality of the product posted, we have to rely on reviews for both the product and the seller as a whole since they do not have a brand name to back them up.

Also, in general, inappropriate or offensive posts are not published.

Be sure that the store you are posting from is an approved store (almost any store you have heard of is). Read those guidelines on this forum post: https://www.dealsplus.com/answer/posting_deals_coupons_from_new_stores/29224

The goal is around 30-50 points a week, but what is more important is well rounded activity (50 1-word comments won't be as meaningful as good deals from several sites + less but more meaningful comments).

Yes, searching before posting a deal is a very good idea, as our system can miss something on occasion. It keeps you from putting in wasted effort, and helps support your fellow community member's deals. If you see one that already exists, like it and comment--great minds think alike :)

Josie888: there could be a few reasons for that. Perhaps your deal was a duplicate of someone else's--in which case it was buried. Or if the product has low reviews or bad seller history it will not be published either.

Yes, some deals will be removed by DealsPlus admin if they are not meeting the minimum requirement even if they are from Certified Users.

@JeffU7, you don't need to apply to become a certified user. If you continuously post good deals from a variety of stores, you will eventually level up :)

Also, you cannot delete your deals. Instead, you can expire the deal by adding an expiration date prior to today's date, or you can leave a comment and an Admin will make the necessary adjustments. Hope this helps :)

Hi @milisente, there is no set amount of points you need to level up. What's most important is submitting good deals from a variety of approved stores, as well as engaging with the DealsPlus community through the forums and other comments :)

there are 3 ways to be a certified user, deals posting, comment under deals, comment in forum, what if I just posting deals and commenting deals, but don't comment in forum, can I be a certified user? I mean sometimes we could meet only meet 2 of the 3.
