The only thing I could think of is putting it in a Ziploc bag, but I would be afraid of it overheating. Could you maybe buy a cheap mp3 player and cheap mini speakers? In my experience it is hard to really "childproof" anything.
(Case in point--I put electrical outlet covers with a new design on the other day and couldn't get them off to vacuum but when my 2 year old saw them she popped them right off!).

You could send your phone in to be waterproofed (there are several companies that do it) and then get a heavy duty case. That's really my only idea. There really are no child proof cases as far as I know

Thanks for the suggestions. Fisher Price makes some for the iPhone 4 but not for the 5. Was hoping someone knew of a similar product. Ziploc bag might work!

Well I do know a case! Its called a life proof case. Its waterproof, and its stronger than an otterbox.

You can try a case with heavy duty silicone inner skin and durable PC hard casing

I tried a lot of online sites on where to find great quality covers and cases for iPhone. I've been buying from Minisuit.com coz they sell good quality items. You may want to try it too :)
