Does anyone know how Jet Blue runs up their airline tickets?

When we went to Disneyland this spring the whole family got on the computer at the same time to buy our tickets. Well, I had already been on their website earlier in the day to find the flights we needed but none of the other families had. My price came up 10.00 more than any of theirs. I thought it was just an error and closed my browser and tried again. This time they came up 20.00 more an anyone else. I thought maybe they were selling out faster than I could book them. So I just bought them at the higher price while the rest of the family got the lower price. Well then the next day I figured it out! I needed to buy one more ticket so I went to the same flights and behold th were back to the lower price. Well I was on my husbands computer( I had used mine the previous day). So just to experiment I started my flight search over a few times and guess what! The price went up 10.00 each time. Then I cleared the cookies and cache on both computers and they both went back to the lower price. I don't know if it's a flaw or if intentional, to make people feel like the tickets are selling out but they are making a bunch of extra money!!

I'm sure it's intentional. JetBlue has always done things differently and being a "low cost" airline, they need to make their money up somewhere.

Thought I am also interested if anyone knows how their pricing works.

This same think happened to me. My sister lives in Orlando and when she looked it up later that night it was $40 cheaper. Its definitely intentional.
