Does anyone really enjoy "coming up next"s ?

Its a common trend in TV shows to tell you what will happen after the break , do they actually think that I would flip the channel unless I know what's about to happen ,most of us use DVRs anyways so we already have the show recorded . why would I be happy when I know briefly what's about to happen in a show that I have been waiting a week to watch . at some point we need to let the TV networks know about this overlooked douchebaggery

I agree unless it is something REALLY out of the ordinary. Like on talk radio when a host says the president is coming up next or something.

It mostly makes me impatient. And then its a letdown when you already know who's gonna kiss, or die, or win a million, etc....

For someone who is planning on watch the show it may seem as a nuisance but for someone who may have never seen the show or just turned it on it may not be so. I dont even care, it pisses me off a bit more when the show comes back from a commercial and they waste 30 seconds re-showing you what happened prior to the commercial.

how about when they say they'll be right back after these messages and when they come back from the commercials, it shows the credits. Bah.

I agree that the teasers basically just make for a longer commercial break. On the other hand, I love the preview of what's happening next time on (insert your favorite show here). At the end of a show, I am always anxious to find out where the story might be going next. But don't tell me too much and ruin it! Spoilers suck.
