Ebay & Amazon items:

10 3
Mods should check that those items posted from Ebay & Amazon are truly sale items, and not just someone posting everything from those sites.

When posting from those sites- one should include the original price and any codes whatsoever or coupons to show it is actually a SALE! or a DEAL!

I mean it is only right. Otherwise, anyone can just post any darn thing that is on Ebay or Amazon.

Sounds like a tall order for the Mods :) The best way to handle this, IMHO, is to vote with your plus/thumbs up and down.

Isn't this the job of the MODS?

you think the mods have the time to check every single deal that is posted from amazon and ebay that is our job whoever post the deal to put any coupon or code available if we don't know there is a code for the deal another user can update and get credit for it too.

Sometimes a "deal" for me means something else. Sometimes, it could be a hard to find popular item or even an item that you can get with free shipping online. Or, for example, if you want to buy a larger item online on Amazon and you don't have to pay tax, sometimes that itself is a deal.

Also, sometimes items just come out, and we like to know where to find them, or they are funny/seasonal, etc... I could go on and on but some of the best deals do have considerations other than just price drop. Furthermore, it may be hard to find the original or retail price of something-- like Coke, what is the original price of a Coke? Do you want people to guess? You may know a good deal when you see one even if you don't know the actual original price.

I wouldn't doubt some people think things they see on ebay or Amazon are good deals, and sometimes they probably are. If this is an ongoing continual problem with one poster and they really aren't any kind of a deal at all, you could notify the mods, but I would think they would probably notice it too.
