Ever wonder if a deal is really a deal?

Everyone that has shopped online has seen items "95% off!" with an inflated list price. Amazon is famous for it. So, what can you do to check to see if you are really getting a bargain?

Now my answer:

Before you pull the trigger on any "hot deal", first thing EVERYONE should do is use a price comparison site.

I use www.froogle.com There are plenty of other ones to use but I like the ease of using froogle.

Another tip is to check for any extra coupons for a particular site that would enhance the deal. I actually search the stores here on www.dealsplus.com in the search bar and choose coupons.

Hope these tips help to relieve your stress wether you made a good purchase or not.

Compare the price that the site is giving with other prices on the same item around the web. If it lower than the majority price then it is a deal.

i check out how much the item costs at other sites and i'm able to get an idea of how much it normally would be. sometimes nextag can actually give you a chart showing the price and how it's fluctuated..so that way you know what the price has been recently..and even how low it's gotten to before.

You should type in the item in google, and compare the prices! You can also do this on www.nextag.com!
Hope I've helped!

there's a quick way to figure out if a deal is really a deal for those who use Google chrome. Just install the 'price blink add-on' (which automatically search for coupons, compare prices among sites)price blink makes looking for deals a breeze =)
