Well Im from Central PA which is a hotbed for high school football. My alma mater is the 5th winningest team all time in the USA. Other than Friday nights here are just like the movie. Texas is huge when it comes to football but PA and OH arent far behind.
My son is 9 and has been playing since hes 5. So I spend most of my time and money on him.
Im born and bred Steelers. But really im much more into college and below than the NFL. I want to watch people who play for the love of the game and not a paycheck.
As far as college goes im a long time Hurricanes fan. Its been a rough few years but we will be back.
I dont pray for anything let alone a sports win. No good luck charms. I do update via facebook for my sons team and also high school games. The only time I really hang with friends is if I go on a road trip on am NFL or College game. Im a family man, dont really hang with anyone anymore period, theres just no time for friends in my life.

Growing up in Baltimore- I grew rooting for the REDSKINS and then when I had been away for school overseas, we finally got our own team! The Ravens! But, I never really was their fan, but then I moved to Atlanta and loved the Falcons... still do- even though I live in Miami.
It's usually at someone's house every week. we rotate or sometimes we go out to the local eatery. Beer, food and a card game usually keeps everyone in a great mood. If we attend a game, we tailgate as long as there is great weather and get to meet other fans and party.
