there's also something called the Kaiser diet..it goes by a few names, but that's the i know it by..it's a three-day course..seems to work..it's designed for short term weight loss..like to prep for a wedding or something..i know people who have done it..with pretty decent results

The concept does make sense. Here's a quick overview of the program.
@kffight3r - p90x is a great program and does work, but it is geared more towards working out, rather than diet. A true weight loss program has a diet aspect and a workout aspect.
You could actually combine this diet with P90X or any other workout program and I think you would have good results.
Keep in mind there is no miracle diet. Losing weight requires good eating and plenty of working out.

I bought that book when it first came out. It tells you basically the same thing every other diet does. For myself, it's better not to focus so much on a diet but just stay busy with other things and only eat when you're hungry. Don't eat too much. Eat all of the vegetables you want but only a few bites of a pizza, cake etc. It's not easy to lose weight, it takes a lot of discipline and will-power in my opinion.
