have we been fooled by retailers ?

is black friday really better than every day online shopping deals ? I understand the fact that having a lump sum of customers in one week will tempt manufacturers and thus retailers to drop their prices a bit to make more sales . last year's BF was a bust though ,I wonder how this year will go ....

It all depends on what you want. For some people, there are no good deals. But for others, there are. But for me, BF is also about the experience.

I think if you are wise man, you will not think so.

I usually have the majority of my Christmas shopping done by BF because I buy things on sale throughout the year, but BF often has great deals for little things or stocking stuffers like Blu-rays and DVDs. It's nice because you don't have to arrive early to take advantage of those deals. I try to steer clear of the doorbusters because there is no guarantee I will be able to get one, even if I arrive early.

Put all the items you want in your shopping cart on amazon.com. Then check it a few times a day. Their prices change constantly. But if you're patient you'll get a great price. I bought a set of pictures that were 220.00 for only 40.00. The next day they were back up to 180.00. I've scored some awesome prices this way!! Love amazon.com!

And forget about BF! It's usually all junk anyway.

The Amazon shopping cart price tip is a great one. If you see a price go up on an item in your Zappos cart, just give their award-winning support team a call. Usually they can give you the price you originally placed the item in the cart at. Even if you can't remember what that price was, they can look it up for you.
