The MM widget link is for posting coupon deals on your blog or webpage, you just have to use the uniquely generated and customizable widget code made here: https://www.dealsplus.com/tools/displayWidget.php
Effectively, the widget is just an ad that you display on your personal website (similar to a banner ad). The widget can display a chosen number of the popular coupons from any or all categories on dealsplus.com, and you get payed for the number of click-throughs generated.
The other option for making $10-30 per 1k clicks is through posting individual coupon URLs. Assuming you have a MM account, your unique coupon URL will show up next to the post when you click the "Share it!" button. You can then copy and paste this uniquely generated URL into an email, blog, webpage, etc.
You can learn more about both options here: https://www.dealsplus.com/account/faq_mm.php

You actually need to submit the deal. After it is submitted you can copy and paste it.
Example of one of yours:
Now if copy and paste the link and put on your twitter, facebook or myspace or where ever you would get credit every time a unique visitor clicked on it.
