Great question. For me, its always about coupons. Whether its finding an awesome deal and trying to find a coupon to top off the deal or just finding a coupon and configuring a deal that's HOT (Dell, HP, Newegg etc.).
I often check other deal sites for deals and make them a better deal with coupons here. I think DP has probably the best coupon selection among all the deal sites.
First thing every morning I go straight to email. I'm on newsletter lists for sites like Newegg, Dell etc. I can usually find a good number of deals from those alone. Then I'll reference other deal sites and use price tracking software to see which items have dropped significantly.
What Software? wow...this is MM is getting real competitive and serious.
I use this software: http://download.cnet.com/Amazon-Price-Watch/3000-12512_4-10729636.html?tag=mncol;2
It doesn't track ALL price drops on Amazon though - only certain items you set to watch. I'll usually add popular items only such as iPods/TV's/Blu-Ray Players etc.
Thanks for being open and sharing your way to get deals ragingwookiee. :D
Wow, thanks for the insight Ragingwookiee! I had no idea there was such software available! Guess that is why I posted this thread in the first place! PLUSME, I pretty much have the same routine as you. :)

Thanks ragingwookiee. Also @ Warunamail I have suggested many times to be able to see who pluses or negatives a deal. I hope they add that feature.

I'm curious why on this thread someone has thumbs-downed all of ragingwookiee's replies?

Thank you ragingwookiee for sharing. Not many here like that.

Thanks ragingwookiee. I think those who thumbs-downed may feel a bit 'threatened' and more 'competition'. Especially if they also use this software. But sharing is what this site is all about.

I also use price blink (add on for ie, firefox and chrome) and when I go to a "deal", I get a drop down box that shows prices against several sites. This way, I can see which store has the best price. If I think a deal is great, it isn't always at the store I'm looking at. http://www.priceblink.com/
