If there was an iphone 4 under warranty with apple, and something goes wrong with the iphone, will apple replace the iphone for free?

It depends on what the warranty covers, what happened to your iPhone?

Nothing yet, but if it drops and cracks, will it be covered?

warranties are location specific, i believe, some do cover accidental damage and some do not, and if memory serves, NONE cover water damage :) Should be free to call your local apple store and ask, assuming you do not have your warranty paperwork on hand?

I've never heard of any standard factory warranty on anything that covers accident or abuse, and that includes Apple's US iPhone warranty. Unless you explicitly purchase additional coverage for these situations, they are definitely not covered.

i don't think apple's warranty covers accidental damage..you may want to call to confirm that, though.

They won't cover a cracked screen or anything like that. If something with the software or internal hardware stops working, and your not at cause, they will most likely fix it or replace it.
