Maybe I am getting old?!?!

26 0
Maybe it is my age and I am getting grumpy as the years go by but why does it seem like common courtesy or common sense is lacking in basically every aspect of life. Why is it so hard to be respectful to each other? I don't mean going around loving everyone & everything but just keeping in mind that you are not the only person in the world and your actions do affect others who are just trying to get thorough life just like you. This is mostly about my daily job struggles with incompetent people who truly forget they are NOT the only person in the world. Although lately no matter which way I turn I see lack of common sense/courtesy. it is very concerning.

I hear you... and I have to admit, sometimes, I'm that someone with a lack of common sense/courtesy...

Thank you for sharing themoneyman1113. It was a good moment of reflection. :)

It's right, there are many such phenomena.

@Notbad. Everyone has those moments that lack common sense or courtesy so don't be too hard on yourself. I think the difference is you acknowledge it, that sometimes you don't get it right. Some people never do and go around blaming others and not taking responsibility.

I'm gonna try to do my part: be more courteous to people around me. Hope it will initiate/motivate others to do the same. :)

Have a great day!

@themoneyman you are such a nice person I remember when you were telling me to be safe when the hurricane hit Bahamas thinking that's where I lived. Please don't change, continue to be the nice, kind courteous person you are. People can be so mean at times. I try my best to show love and respect to everyone i don't grudge, judge nor criticize.

Yes, the perception of a lot of things is different over time.
