I agree the time and fee paid maybe an issue...Although $25 is not a small amount to payout each month. Some of us can't be on morning, noon and night posting and searching online or whatever methods are going on here lately. I could very well post 2000 deals a day and make $50 plus a month but I don't have the time nor do I think that is the way to make this site user friendly, the goal is to find or post great deals for all of us..At this point unless you sit on dealsplus.com all day or post 100's of random deals a day you are not making $50 a month. So for those of us who choose to post when we see a good deal or those of us who think flooding the site with random deals is not the best for the site, well we don't get paid for months :( Just my thoughts...
$25 minimum would be great!!!!
I admit it is nice to have the money. That being said. I only post what I think are really great deals and if I don't get paid monthly thats ok. When I firsrt started using DealsPlus no one got paid and there were only random contests. We came for the deals...and shared anyway...

I think $25 is more reasonable although I'm one who "sits on dealsplus.com all day..." It's addicting & pays my medical bills. While were talking about payments, why can't we get paid 2x a month or when we reach a certain limit instead of having to wait an entire month to be paid?
deby32953 (rep: 250k) posted Jul 28, 2011
@deby32953, You are among the few who post "great deals" consistently how much time you spend is none of my business and that comment was not directed at you. You have to do what you have to do, and that should go for everyone here. We all do what we can some of us are sincere and some just are here for money..If someone posts deals and makes comments and it earns them $25 plus, then they should be paid as that is what they could contribute.
So, again I would like to see a payment of a minimum of $25 to be made at the end of the month or 2 months whatever it takes...
@skaro964, I have been a member of dealsplus.com since 2007. Anyone still here from that time can agree with some of your statement, we were here for the true enjoyment of deals and on occasion we entered a contest for an iPod shuffle, sharing great deals was our main goal.
I'm a college student so naturally, I'm incredibly broke so the $50 limit is a bit high (but nice to have!) even though with AC Moore coupons and American Eagle coupons, it only takes me 3 or so months to reach $50. (Is that a long time?) I don't know if having a minimum of $25 would make sense for dealsplus.com because it seems like it'd be a petty amount for other users. It would be nice to have an option though. Let's say...if the minimum was actually made to $25, we'd have the option of taking it out so it's not automatic and dealsplus.com wouldn't be hit with a lot of little fees but we wouldn't have to - like a drop-down menu or something. That would, in turn, allow us to "withdraw" whenever we wanted to as long as we met the minimum, whatever that may be.
If that's not possible, I would like somewhere on dealsplus.com where I could keep track of how close I am to $50 and when my last payment was.
Be a petty amount for other users? Hmm....Not really as that is what I am saying not all of us have the time contribute more, why is it petty to be paid what you contributed? Being a college student you should know every penny counts, so if takes you 2 months for $25, then take it as you never know when you may need it or let it accumulate..We should have the option as we did earn it, why should we have to make $50? What is wrong with $25, sounds fair to me. Really being paid at all for finding and posting deals is pretty awesome! I just think for some of us making $50 takes too long... :)
Well consider users like ramana_forums (and others I can't think of off the top of my head...) - ....you know what, NEVERMIND. I don't know where I was going with that anymore. I guess they'd be paid every month regardless. (I'm assuming with the amounts of deals/coupons they post, they're bound to exceed $50 a month anyway.) Yes, MM is awesome. I love it. It's more or less the only consistent income I get. :x
Anyway, we should just wait for a mod to tell us why $50 being the minimum is conventional.
arsiel all you need to do is go to your money maker page and it keeps track for you everyday. It also shows what deals are doing the best for you. Just look under the SEARCH on the top of your page and you will see it underneath that. They even keeps past months for you which I love

Oh goodness I forgot about the payout issue. When I started at Deals Plus I knew what the $ amount was, and if it was an issue with me, I might have looked elsewhere. Don't get me wrong, a lesser amount would be fine by me, but it's like a savings account, you deposit money and watch it grow (or at least you did when the interest rates were higher..lol)
DiscoQueen (rep: 12.6k) posted Jul 28, 2011
I agree with arisiel for the most part. I think $50 is just perfect. I'm assuming dealsplus have a reason for it to be $50 and not $25. I mean the next thing you know, the next person would want $15 minimum, $10, and 2x/3x a month. I have nothing against you OP but if you really want to reach that $50 you're able to no matter even without being by the computer 24/7.
I personally love the MM program, sharing deals and making money at the same time. Its really nice to have a program like this but whoever owns dealsplus doesn't have to do this, they could just hire a few ramana or a few raging and a few others users here and take away the MM program.

@Ribbit, I know about the chart and how it keeps track of your deals everyday (I check it more than once a day...) but it doesn't keep track of when you were last paid and how close you are to your next payment. It makes me have to go back to paypal to see last month that was considered and where my new "cycle" begins.
@lightbulb42- Would you think maybe putting on a limit on the amount of deals posted by one user maybe a better idea to stop the crap deals from being posted?? I try to post good deals and I really think the people who follow this rule may lose here as we have people who post all day long and then we have people who just post one deal after another just to make money. I think a $50 minimum may cause more people to try to post random deals as it gets closer to the end of the month to make the quota..But maybe $25 would also...IDK :)
I think Deals Plus is great and we need to just be happy that we HAVE income coming in from them! Put all this anger into finding even better deals then you did yesterday. You know the old saying: If it ain't broke, don't fix it! I count my blessings everyday. Life is just too short to worry so much.
DiscoQueen (rep: 12.6k) posted Jul 29, 2011
@DiscoQueen I agree with you to a point life is too short and we all should be thankful for what we have:) At the same time I am all for making positive changes here at dealsplus.com, I disagree with your statement 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" There are many things that could be changed or tweaked here!!! Have you read the Ask & Share lately? Many people have legitimate concerns about the state of dealsplus.com!!
branie (rep: 120k) posted Jul 29, 2011
I'm just not sure why everyone has concerns/complaints about dealsplus/MM program. We should feel great about this program like DiscoQueen said. Like I said earlier, dealsplus don't have to do this MM program at all. Why can't we just follow the rules and make things simple? This is how they want this so we should follow it? I know this might sounds pretty harsh but if you don't like it go elsewhere.
So many people use the MM as a source of income (not me), I'm just afraid one day that with so many concerns/programs that dealsplus MM program that dealsplus will eventually pull the plug and stop the MM program and a lot of people will be out of that income that MM provides.
skyline (rep: 1.6k) posted Jul 29, 2011
dealsplus.com has grown A LOT!! Along with growth there should be change to handle the growth, so far I see little change, people doing whatever they want despite the "rules". This post kind of got off subject. I do not make a lot of money here at dealsplus.com. I am grateful for the MM program as most are here. I was just wondering if the minimum could be lowered for those of us who contribute but not enough to make $50. I should not have to post bogus deals to make $50, I should not have to wait 3 months either...Seems like people who voiced there opinion here think things are perfect just the way the are. If you read the ask&share people are not saying they are unhappy with the MM program, they are expressing their opinion on other issues that they are unhappy about..Which I am not going into..So many people have had really great ideas, I just see nothing being done.
SO THIS POST IS NOT ABOUT MY MM EARNINGS AND HOW I AM UNHAPPY ABOUT THE PROGRAM, I THINK THE PROGRAM IS A GREAT IDEA AND AM THANKFUL! I JUST WANTED TO SEE IF ANYONE THOUGHT A $25 MINIMUM WOULD WORK FOR THEM?? IT WOULD WORK FOR ME AND I AM SURE OTHERS WOULD BENEFIT.
