I think it has to do with Pinterest.

oh neat..that looks new..and yeah..looks like it belongs to Pinterest..it's a site where people "pin" photos of what they like and stuff. it's a site that's been around for a while..but i feel like it's been receiving more attention lately.

makes sense DP to expand..they went from just this site..to incorporating facebook and twitter..now Google+..now Pinterest..it just keeps going.

I saw this today also. I signed up on Pinterest a while ago and never did anything on there. But, now I noticed on facebook also my friends pins are showing up on their pages. Looks like the new up and coming thing to do.

it's a pretty neat site..i see more females into it than males..but it's a neat site to see what others enjoy or like doing. it's kinda' like tweeting..but with only photos. you post a photo that you want to share..it can be a photo of a meal you want to make, or a car you think is great..anything..and other people see that photo and ...well..yeah..just check it out..it's a way of making photos social.

I was wondering too - Thanks branie for the the question & y'all above that knew something about it. Already filled my head with great ideas! I love google images, & have actually found a hard to find/out of stock/better price items by following the links behind an image.
