You cant expect Obama to do well when Romney flat out lies through his teeth. Broaden your horizons. Instead of voting for one of the two people the media tells you to vote for; vote for someone who has your same beliefs and values. There are more candidates on the ballot than these two clowns. And please dont say well if I vote for someone else I will be wasting my vote. If we all wasted our votes on someone else neither of these two would set foot in the white house come January.
And those Spanish channels are US tv networks run and operated in the USA, why wouldnt they show it?
Good points... I live in FL, and it was just funny how these Spanish channels had more coverage on the debate than some of the other local channels. Better too, in my opinion.
I also had those play by play on Facebook, LOL, jkbane.
Praveen- you have time... no time limit.
Chucky & Eric- I thought Romney did quite well too. Obama had looked annoyed and impatient throughout the whole thing. The media took this as if he had some good points to say but didn't want to interrupt Romney. Everything he had done was put as he was doing it for the good.
And Acidbaby- Obama was the one full of lies. He practically did nothing to show his interest. He disgraced Romney by not addressing the answers to him directly but to the monitor, even though Romney every time had directed his answers respectfully to Obama directly.
Obama had even complained a few times to the monitor to "get it over with and move on". Was looking down the whole time doodling on his paper, and had a smirk on his face, and even claimed how he became "fond of the term- OBAMACARE."
Romney had been respectful, while Obama had disrespected him, and the whole debate by his attitude.
LOL yea because Romney flip flopped on most every point of his so called agenda that hes been talking about for like 8 years. Id be uninterested as well when the guy is standing there blatantly lying to the tv audience. I could care less about either of them, they are one in the same with slightly different views. My vote goes to Gary Johnson who they wouldnt even invite to the debate because he would have tore them both up and gave the people a viable option.
I agree with you, Encorez... the lesser of both evils.
Although, it's going to take a lot of work to get us out of the rut we are in.
Acid Baby- Obama kept saying the same bull to Romney while Romney denied that he ever held of that. Don't know where Obama got his ideas from, and Romney was right to point that out. Obama had no clue what he was talking about. Calling Trump a SMALL business? Not exactly sure who is advising Obama on this campaign, but they're doing their best to make Obama look foolish.
He never called Trump a small business. He stated that according to Romney and Romneys tax plan Trump would be considered a small business. Once again, I dont support either one of these bozos but your mistaken and havent paid much attention to Mitt Romneys campaign or career if you believe what he denied is factual. Its well documented that he changes his stance whenever he is confronted on an issue. He is the epitomy of a flip flopper.
And once again it doesnt need to be the lesser of two evils. There are more candidates on the ballots than just two. Research them and make an informed decision.
Thanks for the tip, Acidbaby.
You know this a friendly debate and I have nothing against you- simply politics here.
Obama has made many claims, many of them I had heard in his supported commercials out there, which are no where near the facts.
Obama has scooted away from answering about his own record each time he was asked a question just reading whatever was given to him.
He never answered directly to Romney, even though, each time Romney had answered him truthfully what his real intentions are.
Besides, everyone has a change of views throughout the campaign as it goes along. And yes, there may be other candidates, but these are the nominees. The Democrats have no one except Obama on their side with a record which isn't really helping him. He keeps dwelling on one or two issues which could have been prevented had the person he keeps mentioning had taken care of it, while he was president!
There are more than 2 parties and more than 2 people nominated or on the ballot for the presidential general election. Throw the Democrat and Republican garbage out the window and again vote with your heart and mind and not where Fox News, CNN or MSNBC tells you to. George Washington, John Tyler and Andrew Johnson were all independents. John Adams a Federalist. Thomas Jefferson, JQA, Madison and Monroe Democratic Republicans. So many presidents from so many parties but weve gone away from voting for the right guy to instead voting for lesser of 2 evils. If Romney or Obama are someones choice then so be it. I just dont want to see people have their minds made up by corporate sponsored news who have their own agenda's that coincide with the candidates their corporate owned networks support. My employer literally emails our entire company on a regular basis trying to sway our votes because of their sponsorship and well I work in the oil industry so of course they want Romney in but I wont stoop to that level when there are many credible candidates on the ballots to choose from. Such as:
Just to name a few. Of course there are about 12-16 more candidates on the ballots in various states. Hell even Santa Clause and Rosanne Barr are going to be on some ballots. Choose wisely.
