Submitting job applications- how do you avoid throwing your number to all those spammers????????????

4 0
I have been submitting my info online, while looking for jobs, and every website, has in the beginning, a window that pops up and won't go away until you click NO THANK YOU, and even when you do so, to get to the job part, you click you're not interested in furthering your education, but yet, you STILL receive phone calls for furthering your education-  and then when you tell them you're not interested- they bug you and bug you...
I mean, what gives????????

I give them my google voice number... It can fowards the calls to your cell or house phone and if you don't want to someone to be able to contact you you can block them and they will get a "Not in Service" message or you can mark them as spam and they will go straight to voice mail... You can get a google voice number for free here

If you find a job listed on any website then chances are they also have them listed on the company website. For example if u find a job listed on, then go to the company website and look for the same job there. I triy to avoid going to online job website unless it is linkedin or indeed. All these spam calls can truly get very annoying.

Oh Boy I sure do hate that!! It is totally wrong how you can apply to a job and have unaccredited schools call you to try to get you to put yourself thousands of dollars in debt for a certificate or degree that will not get you anywhere!!
