Suggestions to hit the Front page please

How to hit the front page deals quite often. I have posted several deals and few of them were quite interesting. But somehow none of them made it to the front page. Is there any tips that could be followed to hit the front page often?

Deal should be interesting for the mods, even it's 1000+ if mods don't like it stays only in your page, but keep posting, one day you will get there. I have been trying this for more than a year now, but still couldn't figure out. Still I am in learning phase.
All the best!!!

being in the FP is just a prestige. It gives a great feel when lot of people are able to check on your postings.

Eh. I don't know of a particular strategy, other than keep on posting great deals.

It helps having a following of active users that plus your deals.

I personally like the site for more than just the FP deals.

For those who are involved with Money Makers, a frontpage deal will generate hundreds more views than a fresh deal that gets pushed back because some people think the more deals they post, the better odds they have of one reaching the top. And you can still only expect $2-4 for FP. (with some exceptions, of course)
I used to make FP pretty often, but rarely anymore since I really prefer finding individual deals to store round-ups, everyday sales, %off entire store, and coupons being posted as both a deal and the coupon section.
A lot of people believe that to get FP, you have to have friends in high places(with limber thumbs), but I dont know anyone other site regulars personally and still manage to do fairly well.

As far as your REP (stars), I have NO idea what qualifies you to earn that 5th star! I've been a member since 2007, with a 27,813 reputation, and 123 fans and have been stuck at 4 stars for a few years now.
