Target Not Doing BLACK FRIDAY

If you have not heard the news. Target will not be doing Black Friday Sales. What's your thoughts on this?

Me? I'm really curious if that will hurt their business or not effect it at all. After this Black Friday I'd like to see last years report and this years for a comparison. Target is usually one of the places my family ends up looking at for deals.

Target will be participating in Black Friday this year. Their page is already up and ready to go: http://www.target.com/c/target-black-friday/-/N-5q0f2

Target doesn't need to, they just have the best prices everyday....

IMO they could just "label" the normal sale items as Black Friday deals and most would never know. Psychologically speaking people would buy into the sound of Black Friday and sales would get a boost just from the terminology. People will be in the store and will buy non Black Friday deals too.

They may not call it "Black Friday" but they are going to have deals. It's the biggest shopping day of the year. T
