Target Now Price Matching Online Competitors

23 0
Here's some great news for you! If you haven't heard- Target has now made online Price Matching a permanent thing. They are accepting price matches with Target.com, Amazon.com, Walmart.com, BestBuy.com, ToysRUs.com, and BabiesRUs.com. This also applies to previous purchases at Target within 7 days. If you find a lower online price at any of the above retailers within 7 days of your receipt, you will be refunded the difference.

Price matching may be requested at Guest Services and there is a limit of one competitor online price match per identical item, per guest. You can show them the competitor's online price on your phone, but Online prices may be validated by a team member. Items must be in stock at time price match is requested and prices stated as clearance will not be honored. Alaska and Hawaii Target stores are excluded from online competitor price matching.
Also remember that manufacturer coupons can be used on items you are looking to price match, but Target coupons cannot be used.  The complete policy can be found HERE

Wow. This is awesome that they are price matching amazon. With amazon you have to purchase $25 or more in items to get free shipping, but if you PM in store at Target, you can get a lower priced item for the same price, without having to pay the shipping

@bbattag - that was exactly my thought and we won't even need to wait for it to be shipped if we need it immediately! Oh...I can already see Target sales going up!

@Florida2Texas - But if it's crazy successful, it probably won't last because they will be losing money with everyone price matching.

This is definitely an interesting move on Target's part. I wonder how (or if) Walmart will respond
