To mods: stop promoting "selected user" deals to FP.

I'll be brief: mods, please stop promoting " lame" deals from " selected users" to front page. (Example here)
It's not fair to other users.
Thats all I wanted to say.
Have a nice day.

Valid point. What happened to the news section of the site?

I also noticed that some of my much older deal that still get used are very hard to search for and find and sometimes have the description missing.

Maybe the mods just liked the article a lot...but I agree with you in general

Wishful thinking...

Good example, I had an inkling that was somewhat of the case. I came close with a deal I posted getting 18 thumbs up so did that mean that it didn't get FP because I'm not cool enough?

@kffight3r
I was not talking about user. I was talking about mods

Hes not talking about how likable a person is, he's talking about whether a deal should be on the front page or not. Front page deals should be DEALS WE LIKE, not people we like.

This is true. I've seen deals with at least 45 thumbs up and never make it on to the front page but others that don't have so many are. Realy isn't that fair lol

Sound like this is a popular opinion. There are 100 thumbs up at the time of me posting this comment.

Mods providing preferential treatment?..........No! it just can't be.
A bigger problem is really good deals get buried if not posted in prime viewing times. What are prime viewing times? I posted this deal https://www.dealsplus.com/Grocery_deals/p_buy-get-back-as-low-as-free-rite-aid and it was buried in minutes. This is a good deal and I spent 45 minutes prepping it. It just ticks me off.
