Do you have a specific time you post your deals, when you know they'll receive the most "attention"? I've tried posting my deals late at night (when I have some down time) but can't get any plusses, no matter how good I think the deal is. I can get some plusses if I post deals during the day though, or else I would assume my deals weren't worthy enough. I know reputation is just a number but I am trying to reach that 1,000 mark! It's horrible to be so competitive with my self! ;)

I know The frustration of posting at night yet having the deal pushed into the back pages by the time people get active online. The way I see it is that if I find a great deal and wait, it will end up being posted before I do, or run out of stock. (snooze u lose mentality) One good way to 'refresh' your deal is to wait til rush hour, so to speak, and then use the Twitter and Facebook buttons to try to get it circulating a bit. Or if you are part of a local yahoo, mom's, meetup, church group you could share the direct link to your post instead of the deal itself. It's also a good way to get new users coming to dealsplus

I too post late at night and some of the deals that I feel are really good get over looked because the number of people on the site at the times I post is not very high.

It should be pointed out too that people are really stingy with their pluses. What the heck, people? Give folks the credit for finding a good deal even if you don't use it.

i've only been dealhunting for a month now, but I've found that the social aspect of is what makes it great. I've met some great people, and having fans to me, is like 7 friends who i know are seeing my deals even if no one else is. i often saw deals on front page that confuse the heck out of me. is that really a better deal? but it's all in who you know. ive also found people to be quite encouraging, and pretty funny too.

I completely agree! I've been so amazed at how many people have offered their advice and encouragement since I've started here!
