What Do You Dads Want For Father's Day?

Father's Day is June 16th this year.  Rather than ask folks what they are getting their dads for Father's Day I thought it might be more interesting to ask what the dads want.  The list might prove useful for those who struggle to think of a gift for dad.  My kids know that I always want some sort of electronic gadget.

I will start. This year I have told my sons I would like a new, corded Dremel. I have one that uses a rechargeable battery but the battery doesn't last long enough for the projects I do.

I'm not a dad, lol but as a person who will be purchasing gifts I appreciate this post a LOT, my father in law in particular I struggle trying to think what to get him as he gets older (74) and his limitations increase. Also for my husband who I always buy something for. Hoping there will be some new and unique requests.

@xptrish You father might enjoy a very nice magnifying glass. A large model (6" or so), perhaps made of brass, and even a tad ornate. I gave that to an 82 year old friend once and he not only loved it, he was constantly using it. Not only are they useful but they look decorative just lying around on a table.

@erick that's a thought,I was thinking about one of those page size magnifiers at one time for reading the newspaper but couldn't find one and actually forgot about it,but you're right that would be both helpful and decorative, thank you

We need more ideas :) Guys of all ages like remote control stuff. Easy-to-assemble kits are fun, too.

Another hint: We are usually quite happy with our current wallets and they do take a while to break in. Unless, of course, one was requested :)

This is a justin ipad case. It comes with a built in battery pack. It charges tablets and smart phones. It's not on the market yet, but I believe it comes out in a week or 2.

I'd like a dashboard video camera. I'll be taking a long drive in June, so it might come in handy. Plus, you never know when a huge meteor is going to fall from the sky!
