Now We Can't Able To Post Free Codes Like Redbox, Pampers Codes

This is the DP owner's site. They do what they feel is best for their business.

Hoping to get some clarification on what exactly they consider free post,like the above mentioned Pampers or Red Box codes or do they mean free with purchase,or any free offer? Is anything "free" off limits now?

I miss the freebies section. I liked trying new samples etc.

So we can still post freebies but they will just be in a different section now?
Example: I just saw a free iTunes app posted in the deals section.

I saw that, too! It appears to be. Guess we'll find out soon enough. :) I like the new colors. :)

No worries guys, find more freebies in other areas -- check out these places. Hope dealsplus doesnt delete this -- they seem to be deleting information shared about the freebies problem today!

It is user friendly. Its not user friendly to those who only come here to browse freebies and not participate in the goal of this site which is to be a socialized bargain hunting site. Everyone active member plays a positive role here even if we dont all agree with their tactics. Raging Wookie and I have had our share of little arguements and while I dont agree with posting a hundred deals a day I can appreciate the fact he/she is working towards the goal of this web site. I dont post many deals any longer, my goal is to bring another unbiased viewpoint to deals or discussions. Many people are turned off by my being open and honest and all I can say is oh well. We have people like erick who have a wealth of knowledge about many topics and shares that with people. What we dont need is leechers and getting rid of the freebie section cuts down on those people who only take. Im not saying your a leecher, didnt look at your profile any more than to see when you registered but im just sharing what I believe the goal of the owners of this site is. I may be wrong as well.

I miss the freebies section but I do like a lot of the new changes. :) The hot section is back. :) The color scheme is much more appealing, in my opinion. I didn't start this section to gripe... I just couldn't find it. I noticed it was gone before I saw the email. :)

I like the freebies too.

I'm guessing that there is no money to be made promoting freebies :P
