I have tried them at the store and they are fine, but I do think it would be a pain to search the house for the sure to be missing glasses. Maybe if I watched them longer they'd make me seasick too, yet another reason not to drop that much cash when we already have a plasma :)

I dont think youll misplace 3D active glasses when they cost like $25 and up for a pair.

i like 3d tv and with gaming is very cool, we dont own 3d movies i just convert regular dvds to 3ds (2d to 3d) with a program called wondershare video converter.

I tried out several 3D TVs on display at Costco, and I thought they were a joke. Every movie just looks like a bunch of cardboard cutouts standing at different depths. I would never pay extra for 3D capability.

Try both Passive and Active 3D. If you feel sick watching 3D, then maybe it's not for you. I have a 3D-TV and Avatar 3D looks great on it. I don't use 3D much though... don't think there's enough 3D contents yet.
