Why do some comments have green shading?

Just wondering what is the significance, so far I don't see a pattern. But in some topics, several comments have a gradient green background and others do not.

Can you share a link(s) with this issue? If you can share the browser & comp info (apple or pc), it will help, too. thank you

I think I figured it out.

On Ask & Share forum, based on the number of votes for each comment, background color will change from White > light green > green.

We may or may not apply the same concept to other comment sections on deals & coupons.

Ah, now I see. Thanks, @Notbad!

This is a good example of all shading - https://www.dealsplus.com/answer/new_direction_for_amazon_seller_7_26_18/29966

Looks like comments with 1-4 votes are white, 5-9 votes are light green, and 10+ are darker green.
