Amazon Prime Day 2019 starts on Monday, July 15th, and ends on Tuesday, July 16th. That's two full days of Prime madness!
But, Prime Day comes with one caveat -- you must be a Prime member to participate. A membership currently starts at $13 per month, or $119 annually. (However, you can bypass that cost by signing-up for a 30-day free trial right before Prime Day begins!)
If you don't want to spend the money on Prime and you've already used your free trial, or if you're simply looking for alternative sales, here are the top retailers hosting competing sales to Prime Day 2019.
Walmart recently announced their plans for a 3-day sale to begin on Sunday, July 14th -- exactly one day before Prime Day kicks off. Walmart's sale will consist of thousands of rollbacks and special buys on Walmart.com. Yes, this sale is online only, though you'll be able to opt for in-store pickup where ever available to dodge shipping fees. Otherwise, you can get free shipping on orders $35 or more (no membership required).
Here are some Walmart 3-Day Sale deals already announced:
Target Deal Days begins on Monday, July 15th and ends on Tuesday, July 16th. Dubbed the "Biggest Sale of the Summer", Target's sale will feature red hot online deals (no membership required)! Save on thousands of items sitewide on Target.com or on the Target app [iOS or Android].
The best part about Target's sale? You can get many of your orders on the same day with the following options: Drive Up, Order Pickup, or same-day delivery through Shipt. Otherwise, you can get free 2-day shipping on most items with your Target REDcard or on orders $35 or more.
Last year, Target hosted a successful One Day Sale around the same time as Prime Day, so we're looking forward to their 2-day sale this year!
On Monday, July 15th, eBay will host a sitewide Crash Sale right as Prime Day 2019 kicks off. During eBay's sale you can expect deep discounts of up to 80% off on a number of products, including brands such as Garmin, Apple, Samsung and more.
But wait, there's more! You can also expect free shipping on most items (no minimum or membership required). In addition to Crash Day, eBay is currently offering three weeks of deals (ending on 7/15), where you can find savings of up to 80% off new deals added daily.
Dubbed the Crash Day Sale, eBay may be nodding to the fact that Amazon's servers crashed during last year's Prime Day Sale. However, there's also the added meaning of eBay literally crashing Amazon's sale like a stranger at a wedding.
We'll continue to keep this list updated as more retailers announce competing sales to Prime Day 2019.
