Amazon's Black Friday Deals Store and Holiday Game Plans Revealed!

Black Friday is still several weeks for most retailers, but for Amazon – the store with Earth’s largest selection of products – holiday shopping starts now. On November 1, 2016, Amazon launched a discounted shopping section called the Black Friday Deals Store. The store also launched more than a dozen curated holiday gift guides, so buying gifts for loved ones has never been easier.

The Black Friday Deals Store is now available here until December 22. There will be tens of thousands of products to choose from, all at sale prices. Daily Deals adorn the page, with more items going on sale as often as every five minutes. There will be up to 20 huge deals per day. The more often you visit, the more deals you’ll find.

Items from all categories will be featured at the Black Friday Deals Store. TVs and Kindles are expected to be the hottest items. You can save 10% to 70% on items such as electronics, toys, clothing, kitchen appliances, home goods, jewelry and more. However, many of these deals are available for one day only, so if there’s something you really want, you can’t wait a few days to think about. Time is of the essence, so don’t delay.

Amazon boasts 18 gift guides this year, so no matter who’s on your holiday shopping list, Amazon has the perfect gift. These curated guides can be found here. The electronics gift guide features more than 500 items, including video games, music, wearables, tablets, laptops, cameras, TVs and home office supplies. The home gift guide has a selection of more than 1,000 decorations, home furnishings, backyard furniture, cooking utensils, pet supplies and more. As the name suggests, the holiday toy list has all the season’s hottest toys at great prices. There are also gift guides for fashion, sports, Amazon devices, computers, beauty supplies, musical instruments, baby essentials and even handmade goods.

The Canadian counterpart, Amazon.ca, is also featuring a Black Friday Deals Store, which offers discounts on name brands such as HP, Black and Decker, Braun and Tommy Hilfiger. Deals include 50% off tools, 25% off trampolines and Nerf toys, 60% off Coleman products, 50% off VTech toys, 30% off Razr scooters, 50% off Nespresso products and jewelry starting at $19.99. Besides plenty of great deals, Amazon is also offering new features to make your holidays even merrier.

• On November 15, iPhone users will be able to use a tool called Package X-Ray. This will allow customers to see what’s inside a box without opening it. They just use the Amazon app to scan the barcode and they’ll be able to see the items inside.
   
• Search Anything is another feature that may be useful for those looking for a particular item. No keywords or descriptions are required. Just use the camera and point at a particular item. The search results will display similar items.
   
• Fling is a feature with several purposes. You can use it to add an item onto your wish list, browse through all your saved items or compare two items. When you hold down an item, a tray appears that allows you to accomplish these tasks. The comparison tool is especially helpful for choosing between electronics and other items that have a wide range of specifications, features, and prices.
   
• New for Prime members this year is the ability to order via voice. Just tell Alexa what you want and she’ll get it ordered for you – even Holiday Guide and Black Friday items.
