Think of those long winter nights when you can sit in bed, enjoy a glass of wine while pouring over the new book or series you’re currently addicted to. Think of this summer, enjoying a cold one on the beach, catching up on the latest chick flick or mystery novel.
Well, Barnes and Noble is going to give you all those feels in stores. From their latest press release, the major book retailer brand is focusing on enhanced restaurant experience. Jaime Boire, former Chief Operating Officer and now President of Development & Restaurant Group for the company will be spearheading four new concept stores for the company in Fiscal 2017.
The new restaurant will feature an expanded menu and… yes, it will include beer and wine offerings. For those who reside in New York, you’ll be the first to see Barnes and Noble new concept store at Eastchester, NY this October. Upcoming locations include:
Edina Galleria in Edina, MN
Palladio in Folsom, CA
One Loudon in London, VA
This could be mean something new for the company in transitioning the traditional book store into more of a local hang out but only time will tell. In any case, Barnes and Noble in-store book events just became a lot more interesting.
Are you excited for these new in store offerings?
