Although craft stores probably aren’t the first place you think of when trying to decide where to get this year’s holiday decorations, they are definitely one of the best. Places like Michaels, A.C. Moore, Joann, and Hobby Lobby don’t just sell DIY crafts these days - they are actually overflowing with pre-made holiday goods during this time of year!

As long as you have no problem buying people’s used goods, these types of second-hand stores are great for buying holiday decorations. The only problem is that they’re kind of hit-or-miss when it comes to what you’re looking for. The good thing is that they’re typically pretty organized, so if you don’t find what you’re looking for in the section it’s supposed to be in, you can get in and out pretty quickly. Then it’s onto the next one!

What do I mean by mass market retailers? Stores like Walmart, Kmart, and Target, to be exact. You can certainly find some quality holiday decorations at these big-box stores, and at very reasonable prices, too! Since these retailers have huge buying power, they are able to sell their merchandise for relatively cheap. What’s more is that each of these stores stocks plenty of holiday merchandise, so you can be sure to find whatever it is that you’re looking for during every holiday season. Kmart has been said to have sets of 120 holiday lights for under $10, while Target has it’s well-known $1 and $3 bins when you first walk into the store!
