Vancouver B.C., Canada
Okay, so this one isn’t exactly domestic. However, if you have some extra vacation time on your hands, Vancouver is both an affordable and amazing destination to explore. Spend the day exploring downtown Vancouver and check out Stanley Park. Visiting the park alone will let you see numerous attractions from beach and trails to famed landmarks and delicious eats. Don’t forget to check out the Capilano Suspension Bridge and walk across the huge suspension of the Capilano River. If it’s within your budget, we highly suggest a 2-day trip to Calgary (located an hour flight from Vancouver) where you can visit the incredible Banff National Park and roam the crystal blue waters of Lake Louise and Lake Minnewanka.

One of the most beautiful and romantic destinations on the big island, Kauai is located in the Central Pacific part of the Hawaiian islands. A getaway here will give you access to incredible coastal views that neighbors tropical rainforests with quite a few state parks for sightseeing and hiking. For a short getaway (3-4 days), we recommend an itinerary that will show you the best of Na Pali Coast State Park and the Waimea Canyon State Park. Extend your trip even further and check out Honolulu for Hawaii’s nightlife, shopping, and historic sites from WWII.
