It’s a wonderful thing when Mother Nature provides us with art supplies – in today’s case, autumn’s emblematic nut, the acorn. Today’s how-to crafting project takes these fallen oak tree kernels and dresses them up in glitter, then places them center stage as a decorative holiday show piece to be enjoyed all season long.
Like the apple, the acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree!
ACORN AUTUMN TREE CENTERPIECE SUPPLIES:
• acorns
• foam cone
• spray paint (autumn color – we used Rust-oleum’s Sienna Mist)
• Mod Podge
• paint brush
• autumn colored glitter
• hot glue gun
• clear glitter spray – (we used Krylon Glitter Shimmer)
• autumn leaf (real or faux)
