Free Admission to National Parks on Martin Luther King Jr. Day

We’re super excited for the 3-day weekend coming up in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. For those who have yet to make plans, why not venture outside to the great outdoor next Monday? The National Park Service is turning 100 years old in 2016 and to celebrate with all outdoor adventurers, they’re offering everyone entrance fee-free dates this year!

Next Monday, January 18th, will mark the first free national park entrance day of the year plus keep these dates in mind for future free entrance day coming up:

  • January 18: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • April 16 – 24: National Park Week
  • August 25 – 28: National Park Service Birthday
  • September 24: National Public Lands Day
  • November 11: Veterans Day
